TI-84 Programming Guides
The TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus CE run TI-BASIC, a small programming language built into every calculator. You can automate repeated calculations, build study tools, and store formulas that you would otherwise retype. These guides start from the PRGM menu and build up to programs you can actually use.

Before you start programming
Two practical points save most beginners a wasted afternoon. First, programs live in RAM, so a factory reset or a low-battery event can wipe them — archive anything you want to keep from the MEM menu. Second, check your exam rules: some exam boards require programs to be cleared before the test, so never build a program you depend on for a test that bans them.
